Bonaventura Peeters

(born July 23, 1614 in Antwerp, died . July 25, 1652 in Hoboken) - Flemish Baroque painter marynista. His two brothers, Gillis Peeters (1612-1653) and Jan Peeters (162 4-1677) were also painters. His teacher was probably Andries van Eertvelt, life was linked to Antwerp, where he belonged to a guild of St. Luke, and together with his brothers ran a workshop of painting. Peeters is known primarily marinas full of drama depicting storms, battles, and maritime disasters.
